About the Game Master

I moved to Istanbul from the US almost 11 years ago and during those 11 years I marveled at all the idiosyncrasies of the city. I first ran a scavenger hunt for friends over 6 years ago with a lot of my observations written into the challenges. It was a huge success. Next year I did another - bigger, better, and with a ton more people. I wrote a historical scavenger hunt set in Sultanahmet and ran the game as a historical module for a high school. Previous players kept asking me to make a website, turn this into something more than just a side project. I didn't listen...until now.
This is a labor of love for me and I get my kicks out of people enjoying themselves, having an amazing night, and remembering it for years to come.
When I'm not running scavenger hunts (which is most of the time), you can find me on stage with the only English improvisational group in Istanbul, The Clap.
